Afghanistan's first Olympic medal

Kabul, August 20, 2008


SCA congratulates Afghanistan for its first Olympic Medal ever.
On Wednesday the 20th of August Mr. Rohullah Nikpai won the bronze medal in men's 58-kg taekwondo, beating flyweight world champion Juan Antonio Ramos.
Two competitors in athletics and two in taekwondo represented Afghanistan in the Beijing Olympics.
