SCA/SGAA donates wheelchairs to Kabul International Airport

The Rehabilitation for Afghans with Disabilities (RAD) is striving to provide any possible services and assistances for persons with disability in Afghanistan.

To facilitate access for travellers with disabilities or other difficulties walking to or inside the airport, SCA/SGAA have donated seven wheelchairs to the Director of the Kabul International Airport, Mr Allhaj Najeebullah Maqsudi.

The donation was delivered to the Director of the airport by RAD Technical Support Unit, that is headed by RAD programme coordinator Mr. Zemarai Saqeb. The Director of KIA also thanked SCA/SGAA for its donation to Kabul International Airport. The Director of the airport he was briefed by the RAD programme coordinator regarding the role of SCA/RAD programme in providing comprehensive services for the person with disability in 13 provinces of Afghanistan.

SCA produces a number 312 of wheelchairs and tricycle to persons with disabilities in the country annually.
